Hewn Workshop is a sauna design and build shop in North Idaho. We build saunas that are made to last: cut, fit, and finished by hand, designed around how people actually use them.

I’m Brian Pierson, a carpenter based in the Coeur d’Alene area. I’ve spent 10 Years building, from saunas and boats to cameras and furniture. That mix is why I care about the details: tight joinery, good airflow, and materials that hold up to heat and moisture year after year.

For homeowners: I design and build saunas for your yard, cabin, or home, sized and styled to fit your space. Whether wood fired or electric heated. You’ll work with me directly from the first sketch to the final install.

For businesses: If you’re adding a sauna to a [gym, spa, lodge, resort, rental property], I’ll design and build something that fits your space, your guests, and your budget, and holds up to daily commercial use.

Wholesale and build partnerships: Already sell or install saunas but don’t have the shop capacity to build them? I build to your specs or from my own designs, in [quantities / batch sizes], with consistent quality and reliable lead times. You keep the customer relationship; I handle the build.
